Cook and Can Return Policy

At Cook and Can, we want you to love what you buy from us and have peace of mind about your purchase which is why we're happy to offer a 30 day "No Questions Asked" return policy.

As a small, family-owned online retailer, we work extremely hard to source the best products from the best brands and accurately represent what we sell so that you receive exactly what you expect. That said, we know issues and mistakes happen - we want to work with you to try and make it right.

If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase or have an issue, please email us at service@cookandcan.com with your order number and details so we can assist you.

Return Policy: 

We accept returns within 30 days of the original purchase date and are happy to issue a credit or full refund to you as long as: â€‹

  • All products being returned to us require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) to be created and approved prior to items being returned. 

    • To receive an RMA, please email us at service@cookandcan.com with your order number and details of the issue.

  • We receive the product in its original packaging

    • For items returned that are not in original packaging, there will be a 20% restocking fee based on the original purchase price of the item(s)

  • The product is in saleable condition (for items damaged during shipping, please see below)​​

  • The item(s) being returned are contained on the original order

  • We will handle the return shipping costs unless the reason for the return is: 

    • A simple change of mind ​

    • You prefer a different item or ordered the incorrect item ​​

      • If either of the above are the reason for your return, we are happy to still provide a discounted shipping label to you as part of our RMA process.

        • ​You are also welcome to use your own s​hipping method as long it is traceable (provides a tracking number/delivery confirmation). Please note that Cook and Can isn't responsible for packages lost or damaged en route to us if using your own shipping method - we recommend insuring packages through the carrier you chose. 

  • We process returns in the order they were received​

  • During the RMA process, if your return meets all of the above criteria, you will be given the choice of store credit or a refund to your form of payment: 

    • For store credit, you will receive a voucher via email for the full amount of your purchase within 1 business day of your returned item being processed​

    • Return credits will appear within a few business days via your method of payment. We issue credit as soon as we process your return but some payment providers/credit cards may take up to 3 weeks for the credit to fully process.

For damaged or defective items: 

All items sold on the Cook and Can website are listed as "new in box" unless otherwise stated on the individual product pages (such as "open box" or "refurbished"). Except for refurbished or open box items, Cook and Can guarantees that all items are in brand new condition. We also guarantee that all items will be in working condition regardless of whether they are new, open box, or refurbished. If damage occurs during shipping or a product arrives with manufacturer defects, we will replace the items at no cost to you.

  • For defective items - If an item is found to be faulty, please request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) by emailing service@cookandcan.com within 30 days of the purchase date.

    • After approval, we will provide a prepaid shipping label to cover the return shipping cost.

    • Please note that some manufacturers may require direct contact if their item is received as defective.

    • All defective items will be inspected upon arrival. If the merchandise is confirmed as defective, a replacement order will be issued at no cost to you.If the item is found to be without defect, it will be returned to you at your expense.

    • Any defects discovered outside the initial 30-day period must be handled through the manufacturer according to their warranty.

  • For items damaged in shipping - You must notify us by emailing service@cookandcan.com within 7 days of receiving the package. We must file a damage claim with the carrier within this period, otherwise, the carrier may refuse the claim.

    • Please note that claims with the shipping carrier can take up to 30 days to be fully completed. Once the carrier accepts the claim, a replacement item will be sent to you at no cost.

    • If you are present during delivery and the box or packaging appears damaged, we recommend inspecting the actual item for damage before accepting it from the carrier if possible.

For undamaged and non-defective items:

Did the color not match your taste? Did you order the smaller size and now realize you should have gone with the larger one? No worries!

Cook and Can accepts returns for new-in-box items even if it's simply for a "change of heart". Simply email service@cookandcan.com for an RMA so that we can help you find something else you love or get you a full refund (minus the cost of shipping it back to us). 

  • If you use our prepaid label, which we recommend, the cost will be deducted from your refund.

  • You can also use your own shipping method as long it offers tracking. Note that Cook and Can isn't responsible for packages lost or damaged en route if you choose this option; we recommend insuring packages through your carrier.

Non-Qualifying Returns: 

Cook and Can may refuse a return if there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior that warrants a corresponding counterclaim. 

  • Items not meeting our Return Policy will be rejected, and we will inform you of the reason. The item will be returned at your expense.

  • Clearance items cannot be returned or refunded unless defective or damaged.
